Not sure who Brooke is, actually, but I call the recipe as such because it was adjusted from Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies on Allrecipes.com
Ingredients
227 g (1 cup when solid) unsalted butter, melted
600 g (~ 710 mL) white granulated sugar
1 tbsp (15 mL) vanilla extract
4 eggs
200 g plain flour
100 cocoa powder
5 mL salt
150 g chocolate chips
Directions
Sift flour, cocoa powder and salt in a bowl and put aside.
In a bowl large enough to hold all the ingredients, combine the melted butter, sugar and vanilla with a mixer. Beat the eggs separately and add to the butter mixture in 3-4 doses while still mixing to make sure everything is thoroughly blended.
Heat fan-assisted oven to 445 K (~ 175 deg. C) and prepare a baking tray (I'm using a 35 cm x 25 cm for this quantity) by greasing it with butter.
Gradually mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture until uniform. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Spread the batter evenly into the baking tray, and bake until an inserted toothpick comes out clean (about 35 minutes). Remove and cool pan or wire rack before cutting.
