Fudgy Nutella cookies

I'm making some cookies to take to work for my nameday, so I thought I should expand my repertoire, which currently consists of one recipe (one, but a lion).

Anyway, I found a couple of really interesting cookie recipes on http://www.ambitiouskitchen.com, and I thought I'd test them.

I started with this one because it's the simplest one. I must say, I had my doubts about sprinkling them with salt, but it works!

Ingredients

315 g Nutella (or equivalent) or 1 cup (more difficult to measure)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup (85 g) plain flour
1 tablespoon coarse salt for sprinkling

Directions
Beat the egg with the sugar (tip: it's simpler to use the dough hooks in the mixer from the star). Add the Nutella and continue to beat (tip: put the Nutella in the microwave for just a few second to make a bit easier to work with, especially if it was in the fridge). Sift in the flour and continue to beat.

Shape and wrap the mixture in cling film (shaping it into a rectangle makes it easier to equally divide the dough for the cookies). Place in the freezer for 10-20 minutes and turn on the oven to 450 K (~180 deg. C).

When you get the dough out of the freezer, divide into 12-14 pieces and shape into about 1-inch balls. Place on an ungreased baking sheet at least two inches apart and bake for 8-10 minutes.

Once out of the oven, sprinkle with the salt. Allow to cool until they are set, and then transfer the cookies to a wire rack carefully (they are more fragile than normal cookies).
